September 13, 11am-6pm
The thrill of flipping through Scholastic book fair catalogs is coming back—this time with a grown-up twist. This Saturday, Brick West Brewing (1318 W 1st Ave) will host a nostalgic book fair experience in partnership with Auntie’s Bookstore. Guests can sip a beer while browsing stacks of bestsellers, staff picks, children’s books, and unique merchandise.
The excitement will feel familiar: tables piled high with books, the joy of discovery, and the chance to take home new favorites. A portion of the proceeds—10 percent—will be donated to SNAP, which will also be on site between 3:30 and 7:30 pm for its Pajama Party Fundraiser. Guests are encouraged to bring donations of new cold-weather items such as hats, gloves, socks, and blankets to help keep Spokane warm this winter. There will even be a pony! It’s the perfect way to spend a Saturday—good books, good brews, and a good cause.
