Valleyfest Spokane feeding goat

September 19-21

Spokane Valley’s premier community festival and celebration returns this weekend, bringing three full days of parades, races, live entertainment, and family fun. The festivities begin Friday evening with the beloved Hearts of Gold Parade on Sprague Avenue, honoring community members with floats, marching bands, royalty, classic cars, and plenty of surprises. Guests are encouraged to come early, enjoy dinner along the parade route, and settle in for one of Spokane Valley’s most cherished traditions.

On Saturday, the excitement continues with the Valleyfest River Run, starting at 8:00 a.m. at the Mirabeau Trailhead. Runners of all levels can enjoy a scenic, timed course along the Centennial Trail before heading into a day filled with music, performances, and family-friendly activities at Mirabeau Point Park, Plantes Ferry Sports Complex, and CenterPlace Regional Event Center. The celebration carries into Sunday with a pancake breakfast, a car show, and themed events including CultureFest, showcasing global traditions through dance, food, and art, as well as PawFest for animal lovers and TotFest for the youngest festival-goers.

Run by volunteers and supported by local businesses and community members, Valleyfest is more than an event—it’s a gathering that highlights Spokane Valley’s spirit of togetherness, culture, and local family fun for all ages.
