The Story of Bing Crosby

December 20, 4-6pm

This Saturday at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture, local author Lauren R. Harris will share stories from Bing’s life and career, highlighting her book Bing Himself: The Story of Bing Crosby, The World’s First Multimedia Star. Book sales will be available following the talk.

At 4:00 PM, enjoy a screening of White Christmas (1954), the timeless musical starring Bing Crosby. This heartwarming film follows two entertainers who join forces with a sister act to save a charming Vermont inn, delivering unforgettable songs, humor, and holiday spirit. Popcorn and snacks will be available for purchase before the film. This event is free, with no registration required. Guests may donate online or with cash at the door, with donations supporting the MAC and helping to cover the film licensing costs.
