Local ballet students will bring the magic of Hans Christian Andersen’s The Snow Queen to the stage this Saturday at Gonzaga University’s Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center. Featuring the haunting music of Tuomas Kantelinen, Randall Michael Tobin, and others, the performance blends classical ballet, contemporary dance, and European folk dance to bring the timeless fairy tale to life. Watch as Gerda embarks on a heroic quest to rescue Kai from the enchantment of the Snow Queen, demonstrating that the power of love surpasses all. Performances are scheduled for Saturday, January 10, at 2 pm and 7 pm, with tickets available exclusively through the MWPAC box office.
