Spokane rings in the Year of the Rabbit with a bigger, better Lunar New Year Celebration in 2023. Following last year’s success, the Lunar New Year Celebration is now in a bigger venue: the Spokane Convention Center. The Asian, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander cultural organizations will showcase their artists, food samples, and live cultural performances, including the Dragon Dance and Lion Dance.
A firework display will conclude the evening at 7pm to ring in Year of the Rabbit! More than $20,000 in prizes and giveaways will be available, including tickets to Spokane Chiefs Hockey and Spokane Indians Baseball, plus gift cards to local favorites. Get there early to be one of the first 500 guests, and receive a New Year’s swag bag. The whole family can attend for free this Saturday in Downtown Spokane!
