It was announced this week that local chef Chad White is a James Beard Award finalist for the second time and a finalist for best chef in the Northwest for his downtown Spokane ceviche restaurant (and Spokane’s only ceviche restaurant), Zona Blanca.
White is known for his culinary creations and being the driving force behind not only Zona Blanca but TT’s Old Iron Brewery, the recently closed High Tide Lobster Bar, and more. White was nominated alongside other chefs across Washington, Oregon, Alaska and Hawaii.
The James Beard Foundation’s Restaurant & Chef award winners will be announced in June—in the meantime, visit one of Chad White’s local spots and experience his talent for yourself!
