SNSA 2026 Winterfest

Spokane Nordic Ski Association's (SNSA) Winterfest returns to the Mt. Spokane State Park Nordic Ski Area this Sunday, bringing a full day of outdoor adventure and winter fun for the whole family. This annual cross-country skiing event offers dozens of lessons for adults, kids, and even dogs, along with educational clinics, skill-building workshops, and free activities that celebrate winter sports. No membership is required to join in the festivities.

Adult lessons in both skate and classic skiing are available at beginner and intermediate levels, while kids’ clinics offer young skiers a chance to develop their skills. Skiers can also try a Skijor Clinic with gear provided, learn about proper layering techniques, and meet the State Parks grooming team. Free activities include a kids’ treasure hunt, waxing and layering clinics, and adaptive skiing demonstrations, giving attendees a hands-on experience with the exciting possibilities of winter recreation.
