Sandpoint Winter Carnival

February 13-22, 2026

Sandpoint’s 53rd annual Winter Carnival kicks off this Friday, launching 10 days of excitement with more than 30 events happening around town and at Schweitzer. The festivities begin with the Parade of Lights downtown at 5:30 pm, featuring the Winter Carnival King & Queen. After the parade, join the block party on Third Street at Pend d’Oreille Winery with fire spinners, dancers, and live music. Additional parties continue at Connie’s, 219, and Sunshine on Cedar. Music lovers can enjoy Paper Flowers at the Hive, a tribute band playing classic Fleetwood Mac hits, while President’s Day weekend festivities at Schweitzer feature live music and parties.

This Saturday also celebrates Valentine’s Day with specials at shops and restaurants, a Winter Farmers’ Market pop-up at the library, and another Paper Flowers performance with a “Rumours Unplugged” show. On Sunday, Schweitzer closes out the holiday weekend with the spectacular Let It Glow Parade & Fireworks, while downtown Sandpoint hosts the Teatime Winter Serenade at the Little Carnegie Music Hall and a bold, horn-heavy concert, Float Like a Buffalo at the 219 Lounge. Additional Winter Carnival events continue through February 22.
