Get Lit! has been operating for over 20 years as a local nonprofit literary arts organization, famous for its annual Get Lit! Festival that has grown to bring thousands of attendees from the areas around Spokane to celebrate the talented local literary community.
This Saturday, downtown Spokane’s Brick West Brewing Co. will host a fundraiser for this year’s Get Lit! Festival. The event will feature writers from Eastern Washington University’s creative writing program and their works, along with prizes up for grabs from both Get Lit! and Brick West. 5% of beer sales from the event will be donated to the Get Lit! Festival, set to take place April 21-24.
