Staples and The Family Guide have partnered together to provide headphones to kids who are in need coming into the new school year. The headphones will be distributed to students in the Free & Reduced Meal Program in North Idaho, Spokane and Spokane Valley School Districts.
As COVID-19 has transformed the way students learn—from 100 percent learn-from-home, virtual solutions to a combination of remote and in-school learning—students face more challenges and distractions than ever before, particularly as siblings and parents are also working or learning remotely. Headphones can help kids stay focused during learning, but unfortunately many students do not have access to them.
The Back2School Headphones for Kids fundraiser aims to raise $10,000 for headphones for students in need. Donate through the Facebook fundraising page, mail a check, or purchase and donate headphones at specific Staples locations in your area.
