Finch Arboretum Arbor Day Celebration

April 25, 11 am-2 pm 

Honor Spokane’s designation as a Tree City USA at the annual Arbor Day Celebration held at Finch Arboretum. This free, rain-or-shine event offers a full afternoon of family-friendly activities, including live music, environmental education, and interactive demonstrations focused on tree care and sustainability. Attendees can pick up free seedlings and compost, take home a compost bin (while supplies last), and enjoy coffee and treats for early arrivals. A special Tree City USA ceremony and ribbon-cutting for the Touch and See Nature Trail will take place at 1 pm, followed by a ceremonial tree planting.
