Disability Pride Celebration

Visit Spokane’s Riverfront Park this Saturday for Disability Pride Celebration, a multicultural disability pride event seeking to bridge communities with music, food, activities, prizes and more. Presented by the Disability Action Center, a nonprofit advocacy center operating since 1990, the celebration will feature exciting events like Natanam Bollywood Dancers, folk music, trivia, and Native American traditional dancers throughout the day.
The Tom McTevia Memorial Award will also be presented to ParaSport Spokane at the Disability Pride Celebration, recognizing the organization for providing accessible opportunities and training to people with mobility disabilities.
