The day kicks off with the Timberlake Fire Pancake Breakfast at 7am, followed by a parade at 9am. This Saturday, taste Rathdrum’s best summer bites at their eighth annual Taste of Rathdrum in Majestic Park! The admission-free event includes a barbecue cook-off, hot dog eating contest, burger battle and beer garden, along with an array of vendors, live entertainment, and fun for all ages. The 36th annual Huckleberry Festival takes over Wallace this weekend, promising a family friendly event that includes a 5k fun run/walk, a rotary pancake breakfast, food and craft vendors, live music, fun for the kids, and more! The event kicks off Friday with vendors lining up downtown and live music taking the main stage at 6th and Cedar from noon to 9pm. Saturday is race day, with the fun run kicking off at 9am. Goodguys 19th Great Northwest Nationals

The Great Northwest Nationals have arrived in Spokane, promising “cool cars, cool people and good times” at this weekend’s car show! Visit the Spokane County Fair & Expo Center for over 1,500 hot rods, classic cars, trucks and muscle cars. While you’re there, take in the vendor exhibits, free kids’ zone, vintage dragster exhibition and more, running through Sunday. “All-American Sunday” will celebrate late-model American-made or powered cars, culminating in an awards ceremony that will celebrate the weekend’s top winners.
