Backcountry Film Festival

January 9, 7pm

Celebrate winter adventure and community impact at the 21st Annual Backcountry Film Festival, hosted by Selkirk Outdoor Leadership & Education (SOLE) at the Panida Theater. This all-ages evening features a curated selection of award-winning films highlighting human-powered winter adventures, presented in partnership with Boise-based nonprofit Winter Wildlands.

Doors open one hour before the 7:00 pm show and the night includes a Holiday Silent Auction, raffle prizes, local brews, gear vendors, and gifts from area businesses. All proceeds benefit SOLE’s nationally recognized SnowSchool Experience Program, which provides hands-on outdoor education in snow science, winter ecology, avalanche awareness, and conservation literacy for underserved rural youth. Join in on this fun, meaningful night out that supports the next generation of outdoor leaders!
