All are invited to “come celebrate the spirit of Aloha at Riverfront Park!” The third annual Asian Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander Heritage Day arrives in downtown Spokane this weekend, with plenty of celebratory attractions, live performances and cultural exhibits.
On Friday from 3 to 7pm, catch the Fire-Knife Luau celebration at Riverfront Park’s Central Plaza, along with ANHPI food trucks, an historical exhibit, and the unveiling of Spokane’s Chinatown & Trent Alley Markers. On Saturday, gather at Riverfront Park for more than 100 vendors, live performances, sumo wrestling demos, and special guests, and much more for all ages. The community event is free, with tickets available for Luau Sitting. SpokaneUnitedWeStand.org
