Get Lit! Festival 2026

April 17-19

Washington’s longest-running literary festival returns with a dynamic, multi-day celebration of storytelling, creativity, and community. Hosted by Eastern Washington University at locations across Spokane, the Get Lit! Festival features an engaging lineup of readings, writing workshops, panel discussions, craft classes, book fairs, and literary happy hours, many of which are free or low-cost.

This year’s festival welcomes acclaimed headliners Keetje Kuipers, Tessa Hulls, and Willy Vlautin, alongside a diverse mix of regional and national voices. With both in-person and virtual programming, including a fully online Sunday schedule, the festival continues its mission to amplify diverse perspectives and inspire writers and readers alike.
