This Saturday, Santa makes his grand return to River Park Square – and this year, his entrance will be Wickedly magical. Find him beneath the iconic 50-foot Christmas tree as this Spokane holiday tradition comes to life with sparkle, music, and plenty of festive fun. Reserve your photo session online to secure your photo op with the man himself! 

Saturday’s Merry & Magical Kickoff at River Park Square will include family festivities all afternoon with hands-on holiday activities, including a Lush bath bomb station, LEGO builds, kids’ crafts, face painting, balloon twisting, Winter Princess meet-and-greets, a visit from Mrs. Claus, and live music by Gonzaga’s Big Big Theory. Additional Merry & Magical activities continue on Post Street.

At 5 pm, gather for Santa’s official arrival and the tree lighting, featuring appearances from Spokane Aerial Elves, Fantasy Flight Elves, the Ferris Dance Team, and Jolly Old Saint Nick himself. Stick around for photos with Santa from 6-7 pm, then enjoy adult holiday fun on Merry & Magical Lane from 6-8 pm. STCU members can save $10 on photo packages with an STCU card. Celebrate the start of the season with a night full of sparkle, magic, and community spirit at River Park Square.
