September 19-20
Downtown Coeur d’Alene is turning into a Bavarian celebration as Oktoberfest returns for an unforgettable weekend of brews, bites, and live music. The festivities begin Friday, September 19 from 4 to 8 p.m. with the traditional Tapping of the Keg, then continue on Saturday, September 20 from noon to 8 p.m. with a full day of contests, games, and entertainment.
Guests can look forward to more than 30 beers, ciders, and non-alcoholic options poured throughout downtown businesses and two lively biergartens, each hosting local bands that will keep the energy high all weekend long. Authentic German-inspired menus will be served alongside the drinks, and Saturday adds even more excitement with a stein-holding competition and a best-dressed contest celebrating traditional Bavarian attire.
Admission options include a selection of commemorative glassware and non-alcoholic ticket options. Each ticket includes your selected glass and eight 4-ounce tastings valid both days of the event. Guests must be 21 or older to purchase tickets that include alcohol tastings, and extra tasting tickets will be available both in advance and at the event. With live music, traditional contests, and plenty of food and drink, Oktoberfest in Downtown Coeur d’Alene is a weekend you won’t want to miss!
