April 13, 2017 - The Hunt is On!

It's hard to believe Easter has arrived! And the hunt is on for the kiddos to find those Easter eggs. We've found some great family friendly events to help keep the kids entertained and happy all weekend long. Festivities start tonight with the Eggbot Decorative Eggs Workshop at Spokane's South Hill Library. Friday offers an Easter Egg Hunt at Garden Plaza in Post Falls. Saturday, there are several egg hunts to choose from: Sandpoint Lion's Club Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Memorial Field, Easter Eggstravaganza at Fernan Elementary School and High Country Orchard Easter Egg Hunt at Greenbluff High Country Orchard. The fun continues Sunday with the Schweitzer Easter Egg Hunt at Schweitzer Mountain Resort, Community Easter Egg Hunt at Kootenai County Fairgrounds and Shenanigans 5th Annual Easter Eggstravaganza. Whether you treat the kids to just one—or more—of these events, it's sure to make the weekend exciting! Don't forget, Friday is Artwalk in Downtown Coeur d'Alene. Be sure to stop by The Art Spirit Gallery for their April Opening Reception, Emerge for their 2017 Young Adult Show and The Blackwell Gallery for their Marae Carr Exhibit. A family friendly event to help welcome spring can be found at the three-day Spring Antique and Collectors Sales at the Spokane Fair and Expo Center. Weekend happenings for the adults includes: Children's Village Spring Benefit at Best Western Coeur d'Alene Inn, Fireside Music Series at Arbor Crest, Jesus Christ Superstar at Lake City Playhouse, Symphony Special: Uncharted - The Four Seasons at the Washington Cracker Building, Loverboy and Survivor at Northern Quest Resort & Casino, Sandpoint Contra Dance at Sandpoint Community Hall and Mad Hatter Tea Party at Tango Cafe.
