Local Coeur d’Alene art gallery is hosting a new art show through the month of August. “Continuum” will feature three regional artists working in various mediums. Allie Kurtz Vogt’s paintings and drawings are colorful and thought provoking, while Michael Horswill’s mixed media encaustic pieces "attempt to create order from the evolving conditions of our chaotic reality." Historic artist Ernest Lothar’s pieces will be on display as well. Pulling from the Modern Expressionism Style, Lothar is the contemporary of beloved painters like Marc Chagall and Kandinsky.
Established in 1997, the Art Spirit Gallery seeks to bring high quality, regional artwork to the downtown area of Coeur d’Alene, providing thought provoking and beautiful experiences for guests.
